Manages the Infrastructure team responsible for WAN, LAN, access control, camera system, security, data center, DBO, hardware, software, asset management and procurement of IT equipment for all Maersk W&D sites across US and Canada. This team builds infrastructure designed to support wireless networks and devices such as Intermec, Motorola and Gladiator RF devices. Manages the EDI team responsible for EDI integrations Maersk W&D customers and business partners. Works in conjunction with business teams, 3rd party providers, customers, IT, and networking teams to properly implement each EDI solution. An expert in EDI and is required to perform complex analysis, read mapping specifications\\raw data files, and is able to work with all globally recognized EDI formats. Exhibits a strong background in understanding the various communication protocols used to automate the sending and receiving of EDI. Responsible for documenting EDI data flow diagrams. Creates EDI documentation and training materials to be delivered during project rollout phase. The Infrastructure and EDI Manager is responsible for managing off shore IT resources and all 3rd party EDI providers.
