Human Resources Professional with experience in manufacturing, construction, recruiting and corporate office environments. Certified through SHRM in Human Resources along with a Professional HR Certification. I have an extensive background in process development and improvement in various industries, along with an expertise in recruitment in a wide range of positions. In addition, my expertise extends to the development of non-existent policy and procedures and leading the complete initiatives and legal compliances. Further, my objective as an HR leader is to develop a true collaborative approach with other leaders in the organization to increase employee engagement, while contributing to the success of overall business objectives. Steadfastly leading Tectran\'s HR initiatives across North America, my role was pivotal in ensuring the team of 170 adheres to the highest standards of employee engagement and legal compliance. Leveraging my professional certifications, including PHR® and SHRM-CP, I had successfully developed and executed a comprehensive performance review program and enhanced our benefits package, including a 401-k match program.During my tenure, I have taken pride in updating and harmonizing employee handbooks for the US and Canadian locations, streamlining wage and salary administration, and leading the charge for a healthier work environment. With expertise in employee benefits and a strategic vision for human resources, I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence and well-being within any organization.During this lapse in employment, I made the difficult decision to care for a family member that needed full time care. I’ve kept my certifications current and am an active member of SHRM and local HR groups while still keeping up with all updates in laws, etc. I am now very ready and anxious to continue my career.
