   Gained extensive hands-on experience in CAD/CAM, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), modal analysis, and precision CNC machining, combined with rigorous testing and validation protocols. I apply engineering principles learned in coursework directly to real-world vehicle design and fabrication challenges.In my first year, I focused on building foundational skills such as getting trained on and operating manual and CNC machines like the lathe, mill, and CNC mill to manufacture critical vehicle components. I led a key project to redesign the uprights to incorporate Ackermann steering geometry, which involved:Designing the uprights using CAD software. Validating the design through FEA and system analysis. Developing CAM programs for CNC machining. Manufacturing the parts with high precision and tolerances.I also fabricated wheel nuts from raw metal pucks using both lathe and CNC mill, machining threads, chamfers, and final finishes to spec. Beyond manufacturing, I contributed to vehicle testing including torsional rigidity testing, wheel alignment assessments, and chassis analysis while integrating knowledge from multiple engineering disciplines.Currently, I am part of a four-person team designing and building a damper dynamometer for my senior capstone project. We are applying advanced system dynamics, simulation analysis, and prototyping techniques to develop a precise testing rig that will improve suspension damper evaluation and tuning, ultimately enhancing vehicle performance and reliability.
