Known for hands on application architecture that enables AI driven workflows and turns complex, regulated healthcare systems into secure, scalable platforms adopted across thousands of hospitals.A central theme throughout this career has been enabling AI in healthcare, from early large scale speech recognition platforms to NLP driven clinical documentation and now agentic, LLM based AI embedded directly into clinician and revenue cycle workflows. I’ve led architecture for AI initiatives that progressed from concept to broad production use, supporting real time documentation, automated coding, CDI, HCC, performance management, and revenue cycle operations. These platforms balance rapid AI evolution with workflow orchestration, data integrity, privacy, and security required for dependable use in clinical environments.In my current role as Chief Architect for Health Information Systems at Solventum, I focus on application architecture across revenue cycle, performance management, and clinician solutions. This includes defining application and service boundaries, shared platforms, data models, integration patterns, and security architectures that allow multiple product teams to innovate consistently while maintaining operational stability and compliance. Throughout my career, I’ve modernized large legacy applications, introduced reusable workflow and worklist architectures, and guided organizations through major technology transitions without disrupting users at scale. The belief driving this work is that impactful healthcare AI and software emerge from strong application architecture, deep clinical context, integrated security, and disciplined engineering, not from models or infrastructure alone.
