The Pelican Bay Foundation, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation that serves as the homeowner’s association representing the interests of 6,478 property units, accounting for more than residents within 97 residential condominium and homeowner associations; and, seventeen commercial entities, including the Philharmonic Center for the Arts, the Ritz-Carlton, Waterside Shops, the Naples Grande, numerous restaurants, retail shops, banks, office buildings, a county park, county beach access points with parking, a church, and all three emergency service providers. The Foundation owns substantial amounts of property that adjoin the Gulf of Mexico, and operates two beach restaurant complexes; two tennis complexes; a community center housing a fitness center, education/enrichment rooms, and banquet rooms; a tram transportation system; an extensive beach service amenity; canoeing, sailing, and beach fitness facilities. The Foundation represents a property tax base of over $9.5 billion.
