ABOUT BRECKER FERGUSON

I am a sustainability expert and TEDx speaker with an interdisciplinary background at the intersection of environmental science, business, and technology. Currently, I serve on the U.S. commercial team at TWAICE, a Munich-based SaaS company advancing battery energy storage system (BESS) performance through predictive analytics. Working alongside a multicultural and ambitous team, I help BESS owners and operators maximize asset value and safety - contributing to the broader clean energy transition and enabling higher penetration of affordable renewable energy on the grid.I graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.S. in environmental science and business adminstration, with coursework spanning finance and accounting, sustainable development, environmental policy, civil engineering, life cycle assessment, and business strategy. I operate best where science, technology, policy, people, and businesses converge to create a more sustainable and equitable society.I believe in the idea of doing well by doing good. I\'m energized by tackling complex, interdisciplinary challenges and translating insights across domains to unlock long-term value for the organizations I work for and the stakeholders they serve. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy navigating steep learning curves in environments at the frontier of innovation and impact.I have professional experience across 5 continents in industries encompassing SaaS sales, conservation research, executive leadership, event coordination, architectural development and compliance, digital marketing, nonprofit strategy consulting, grassroots community development, startup business development, public speaking, emerging markets research, and education.
