ABOUT BRECKEN HAAK

Brecken Haak is a Senior Vice President, Commercial Banker with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her banking career in and has since developed deep expertise spanning retail banking, private banking, and commercial lending.Before transitioning into commercial banking, Brecken spent over a decade serving high-net-worth clients as part of a private banking team, where she built a reputation for delivering highly personalized financial solutions, exceptional relationship management, and a consultative planning approach. Her private banking background gives her a unique ability to understand both the business and personal financial needs of the clients she serves today.In her role as Senior Vice President, Brecken partners with business owners, executives, and commercial clients to provide strategic lending solutions, treasury management guidance, and long-term financial planning support. She is known for her proactive communication style, credit and analytical skills, and ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients at all stages of growth.Brecken is passionate about strengthening the communities she serves. She is a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Rockford. Served on the executive leadership team for the American Heart Association for 8 years, Rockford Health Careers Foundation, a board member of the Northern Illinois Hospice Foundation for six years and co-chair of Rockvinia in 2019. She is a past president of the Rockford Public Library Foundation Board and Rockford Art Museum Friends Board.
