I have represented the USLPA (United Soccer League Players Association) on various levels beginning in March 2019. I was the Union representative for North Texas soccer club during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. In 2021, I lead Memphis 901 FC as the lone team representative through a historic Collective Bargaining Agreement at the championship level. In 2022, I lead Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC team as the only team representative and passed a Collective Bargaining agreement protecting player rights at the League One level. Through these unique experiences, I have learned valuable lessons about how an organization like the USLPA goes about getting its employees protect by the government. As players, we need protection and worker rights. The process of formulating a collective bargaining agreement has made me aware of the importance of workers unions in our society.
