About Brea Stephens
Hi there, welcome! My name is Brea Stephens and I am very blessed to study at Xavier University of Louisiana\'s College of Pharmacy! As I matriculate through this program, I become more eager to further my knowledge of the systems in place to deliver quality therapeutic relief - from drug metabolism and interactions in special populations to the systemic inequities that lead to non-compliance in patients without autonomy over their wellness. As COO of Black Women in Charge, Inc, I\'ve mastered observing and re-evaluating all enacted systems to achieve proficient and sustainable programming within any environment. I am confident that my understanding of efficiency when there are lives in jeopardy is necessary in all spaces. I am very grateful for the knowledge that I continuously acquire from my diverse experiences and peers. I look forward to entering more pharmaceutical and public health realms with the hopes of bettering systems that help patients have more autonomy in their healthcare experience!
