As Vice President of Talent reporting to the COO, I lead organization-wide Talent Acquisition and People Operations, overseeing inclusive, data-driven hiring strategies that increased BIPOC candidate representation from 42% to 58% and reduced time-to-hire from 150 days to 45–60 days.While managing a Director of Talent and Talent consultants, I partner closely with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs, strengthen culture, and support retention through major restructuring and change-management initiatives. I oversee full-cycle recruitment for roles from early career to C-Suite level, enhance employer brand and candidate experience, and collaborate cross-functionally across Finance, HR, Talent, and Data to implement scalable systems and to align internal learning, competencies, and performance with organizational goals.

ABOUT BREANNA WRIGHT

For nearly a decade, I’ve recruited hundreds of leaders, including Chiefs of Staff, Chiefs of Party, Vice Presidents, and senior-level specialists, for nonprofits, government agencies, and NGOs across the U.S. and internationally, consistently expanding talent pipelines and increasing diversity in leadership. As Vice President of Talent at The Management Center, inclusive hiring strategies that increased BIPOC candidate representation from 42% → 58% and streamlined recruitment processes, reducing average hiring cycles from 150 to 30-45 days. As an iFLY Youth Recruitment Consultant, I designed equitable hiring processes for staff and board positions and expanded pipelines and partnerships across Washington, D.C. to engage more diverse youth populations. Previously, as a Diversity Recruiter, I established partnerships with the private and public sector to expose new audiences to U.S. Peace Corps and formed hundreds of new partnerships, contacts, and new leads. At multiple international organizations, I built over 60 new partnerships across 27 countries, developed global recruitment guidelines, and diversified talent outreach for international development programs.Originally from the Bay Area, I hold a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside and an M.S. in Development Management from American University. I’m also a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Ethiopia and dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
