My role is housed within the Polk County Jail where I focus on reentry support for incarcerated individuals and their families. Our goal at SVDP is to provide holistic, wrap-around services that address the complex needs people face when returning to society. This includes helping them access employment opportunities, further their education, secure food for their families, and navigate systemic barriers with dignity and support. It is work rooted in equity and second chances.
