About Breanna King

I am an innovative, creative, and dedicated junior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a degree in Marketing and certificates in Data Analytics and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During my first year at Pitt, I started my own photography business. I currently operate Breanna King Photography where I provide portrait photography services such as headshots, couples photos, graduation photos and senior photos. Shortly after starting my small business, I transitioned into food photography. During my 2nd year at Pitt, I was Social Media Marketing Intern for Pitt Eats, where I capture food photos to be featured on the Pitt Eats social media platforms. The signage I assisted in creating has been displayed at 5 places around campus.Wanting to further develop my entrepreneurial side, I was intrigued by the startup space and took a position at 1486 Labs in the Fall of 2022. As Content Manager I oversee 1486\'s content creation process and LinkedIn to educate on the relevance and significance of external data for professionals going through the buying process. I administer content creation strategies to educate on the relevance and significance of the data buying process and generate value for buyers of external data through organized and aligned content about price transparency. I work on growing a sticky platform by creating content themes and strategies to drive consumer engagement and collaborate on decisions regarding the formation of a digital community to grow interaction between members.These experiences allowed me to expand my business to include content creation, web design, and its own blog series. I am extremely excited to see where this journey takes me and further develop my entrepreneurial drive.
