Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) @Stone House Volunteer Fire Department

Responds immediately to 911 emergencies, responsible for safety of crew and apparatus while responding to emergencies. Provides lifesaving skills during for emergencies that range in scope from basic medical emergencies to large scale incidents to include mass casualty events. As EMS Operations Technician, maintains unit readiness logs, orders EMS Supplies, and provides new member training. As EMS Mentor, provides advice and feedback to mentees about their position at the station while teaching them new skills important in the field.
