In this role, I’m steering the creation of the Office of the Unincorporated Communities, a new initiative designed to amplify the voice and well-being of residents in Alameda County’s unincorporated regions. I’m leading a collaborative effort to design how the Office will operate—its core functions, role, and impact—through engagement with community members, community-based organizations, stakeholders, and County agencies- Community Engagement & Collaboration – Partnering with residents, nonprofits, and County departments to co-design the Office’s vision and structure- Policy & Systems Design – Defining the Office’s functions, governance model, and strategies to advance equitable service delivery and community development- Strategic Alignment – Building cross-agency collaboration and sustainability to ensure lasting impact in the unincorporated areas.
