About Tim Krug
I’m the Founder and President of Daybreak — an AI-native planning platform on a mission to redefine how enterprise decisions are made. Our north star: accelerate enterprise autonomy by moving three metrics: improve Decision Quality Score, increase Judgment Value Score, and reduce the Cognitive Load Index. We know we’re winning when human effort drops, trust in system decisions rises, and operational excellence compounds — without adding headcount. Legacy planning systems break at the point of judgment. Planners override 75–95% of machine-generated forecasts and recommendations because of two gaps: math and trust. Math: Traditional statistical models and rules-based optimizers break under the volatility and complexity of today’s supply chains. Trust: These systems are black boxes — they can’t explain what changed or why, in language a planner or CFO understands. Daybreak fixes that. Our autonomous agents use production-grade ML models that consistently outperform benchmarks — but they go further. They reason over forecasts, integrate business and executive context, write code, monitor outcomes, and explain their logic in plain English. Humans stay in the loop — but every time they intervene, we capture the rationale, learn from it, and close the loop. That’s how we reduce cognitive load and earn trust in autonomous decisions. We deliver value in weeks, not quarters. We ship fast, learn faster, and operate like a company already on a $100M ARR trajectory. Always open to connecting with operators, planners, builders, and skeptics pushing for better, faster, simpler.
