As an accountant I manage and oversee specialized projects with a strong focus on financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic oversight. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that budgets are adhered to, expenses are accurately tracked, and financial reporting is streamlined for project success. Key Responsibilities- Project Financial Management for specialized projects- Contract & Invoice Review: Interpret and analyze contracts, ensure financial obligations are met. Validate non-po and po invoices, utilize compliance codes to resolve invoice holds and discrepancies- Reporting: Created journal entries, indexed invoices, and pulled subledgers to support accurate financial reporting. Produce check-held reports to maintain compliance and ensure financial clarity- Software & Tools: Utilized SAP and internal dashboards such as Textura, Excel, and other internal tools to streamline financial processes and ensure accurate tracking of project expenditures- Site Visits: Gained valuable hands-on experience by visiting our job sites to ensure project progress and to support financial decision making.
