Apply database techniques via team’s research strategies to analyze and evaluate data for consolidation; Analyze scientific data for proper data development through the Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment within the Office of Research & Development to assist with environmental and human health assessments.• Manage HERO database containing a minimum of one million scientific documents. Utilize quality control expertise to ensure data accuracy, correctness, consistent formatting/presentation, and proper document retrieval.• Complete document acquisition by locating and archiving digital copies of original full-text articles relevant to the assessment using agency provided resources. Screen and assess the relevance and accuracy of data sources in accordance with copyright law, followed by integrating said information into the HERO database for government and public use.• Digitalization and storage of relevant hard copy articles in the HERO database. Resolution of duplicated citations into a single HERO record to ensure cohesiveness of information.• Engage in project support through testing and communicating analyses to develop new interfaces and tools to support HERO team and improve database program planning.• Served on benchmark dose modeling (BMDS) team during development of assessment and new approaches for BMDS software. Provided technical assistance and expertise for the development of new benchmark dose model update, BMDS version 3.1.1. Analyzed scientific data sets for discrepancies, communicated the results, and assisted with consolidation and implementation of findings into the new BMDS version using both benchmark and coding programs simultaneously.
