ABOUT BRAYANT DE LEON DUARTE
I am a fourth-year QuestBridge Scholar at the University of Chicago majoring in Computational and Applied Math while concurrently pursuing a Master’s in Economics. I am interested broadly in microeconomics and econometrics with specific applications to mechanism design, education, and labor. I am also passionate about community outreach, specifically with regard to low-income, underprivileged communities such as those in which I grew up. Starting in July 2025, I will be working as a pre-doctoral research professional at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics (BFI) under Professor Magne Mogstad.
