I’m a Data Science Manager focused on building scalable data products, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled workflows. In my current role, I lead a team of data scientists that arm stakeholders across the Kroger enterprise with trusted data and actionable insights.My work sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, with a focus on building systems that serve multiple stakeholder groups.Key areas of ownership include:• Designing and maintaining standardized data assets that power reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and downstream AI use cases• Automating reporting solutions using Databricks and Power BI to deliver consistent business insights• Developing “chat with data” POCs using Databricks Genie to improve stakeholder interaction with data• Building agentic AI-driven reporting workflows that monitor business health and surface weekly insights to leadership via emailAs a manager, I prioritize clear direction, team development, and creating space for ownership. I aim to help my team grow, take risks, and learn from both success and failure while staying engaged enough to guide technical direction and solve complex problems when needed.I’m especially interested in how emerging technologies, particularly AI, can be embedded into everyday workflows to improve efficiency and fundamentally change how teams access and use data.A few things about me: I love YouTube, which has basically become my de facto trade school for new homeownership (especially lawn care and an ever-growing list of DIY projects). I care a lot about soccer, enough to understand MLS roster mechanics. I’m also a struggling golfer, which is probably the most consistent part of my game.
