About Brant Hubbard

My graduate adviser once told me: “The good days in science will get you through all the others.” This quote has stuck with me through the years and has served as a personal mantra to guide my career. After 8+ years of scientific research experience, some of my best days happened when I was busy writing papers or giving presentations—I am most proud of my accomplishments in scientific and medical communication. As a PhD student, I coordinated an interdisciplinary team of 4 writers to produce 2 manuscripts, 10 abstracts, numerous slide decks, and finally. a dissertation. The data from these studies resulted in in grant funding from the National Science Foundation and collaborations with top tier universities in the Boston scientific community. As a postdoc and professor, I continue to conduct extensive literature reviews and analyze large scientific data sets to succinctly convey important take home messages. Ultimately, I love to tell good story. As a writer, this means that I have extensive experience proofreading and editing, both for scientific colleagues and my students, I’m a confident and experienced public speaker and educator; I’ve given over 150 lectures, presented at 3 national conferences, and 5 Colloquiums. I enjoy creating visually appealing slide decks to guide my presentations.Overall, I have cultivated an expansive network of senior academic researchers and clinical KOLs as an active member of the Boston scientific community. It’s a fantastic environment to foster collaborations. In the future, I would like to contribute to a team of equally enthusiastic science and medical communicators. Let’s have a conversation!
