About Brandy Woodard
I am an established professional with years of experience in lead roles, well-equipped with a Master of Arts in Science Education from Illinois Institute of Technology. I bring an established expertise in several areas including professional development, curriculum development, academic excellence, behavior management, team leadership, and process improvements. I am inspired to launch advanced and revolutionary projects to elevate academic programs and contribute significantly towards student success. My ability to lead, coach, and mentor diverse teams, as well as drive substantive change as a leader, has been repeatedly proven in my current and previous roles such as Principal, Director and Managing Director. Further, here are a few of my accomplishments:+ Restructured behavioral management system to positive behavior intervention system which resulted in substantial decrease in percentage of suspension and chronic absenteeism rates.+ Awarded Highest Performance Rating Band in CAASPP English Performance Indicator and highest standing on WASC accreditation self-study module.+ Launched two regional-wide initiatives in Phase 1 (out of 3 Implementation Phases), across 17 schools, with the goal of closing achievement gaps for our most vulnerable students in the Northern California region.I’ve shown innovative thinking through successfully heading strategic initiatives that promoted positive student outcomes through policy and practice and ensured equity of every student.
