As a Community Engagement Specialist for Novant Health’s Mobile Mammography Unit, I play a vital role in making life-saving mammography services accessible by servicing Charlotte and Rowan County Communities. My responsibilities include: Event Coordination: I schedule and organize mobile mammography events at community centers, clinics, and other accessible locations to maximize outreach and participation. Community Outreach: I build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and stakeholders to promote event attendance and raise awareness about the importance of early screenings. Logistics Management: I manage all event logistics, including transportation, equipment setup, and staff assignments, ensuring each event runs smoothly. Collaboration: I work closely with healthcare providers and community leaders, ensuring our programs align with health regulations and quality standards. Data Management: I maintain accurate records of scheduled events, participant registrations, and follow-up appointments, ensuring seamless operations and reporting. Problem Solving: I address scheduling conflicts and resolve logistical challenges to deliver efficient and effective service to the community.Through my work, I am committed to promoting women’s health by bringing essential screenings directly to the communities that need them most.
