As avid music fans, my brother and I became quite upset with the secondary ticket market. It is broken, and in dire need of innovation. There is far too much pain and friction in the secondary market. Obtaining a face value ticket to a popular even today is nearly impossible. Brokers are armed with high-tech hacking programs called \"scalper bots\" that obtain tickets before fans have the chance. They are then relisted on sites that lack transparency, charge ridiculous prices, and have outrageous fees. It misrepresents the market and causes prices to artificially rise. Not only that. for people like you and me, who just want to get our money back.we have to mark our tickets up above face value because of the fees and compete with thousands of scalpers. Let\'s face it, the secondary ticket market is not supporting fans, it\'s exploiting them. Upset about the industry, my brother and I created CashorTrade.org, the world\'s only social network where real fans buy, sell and trade tickets for face value and avoid scalpers. Now with nearly members on the app and new fans signing up each month, CashorTrade has become a vast alternative in the industry.We recently closed our first round of seed funding in 2019 and scaled our team. We are now working with many artists and festivals to keep tickets in the hands of fans and to reduce box office friction for the event. Phish, Billy Strings, Goose and Tyler Childers are some of the artists working with CashorTrade to support of the face value mission and to use the platform as their dedicated reseller.
