ABOUT BRANDON Y. CURRY
I am a driven and dynamic higher education professional with experience at both the secondary and postsecondary levels. My work experience includes progressively responsible positions within education that have led me to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions position. My current areas of focus include strategic regional/transfer recruitment, higher education legislative advocacy, college consulting, increasing college access, comprehensive student inclusion, and developing secondary/postsecondary organizational relationships.My love for education brought me from fostering content knowledge in the secondary classroom to facilitating institutional growth at the postsecondary level. I am highly motivated to help students and families understand the higher education admissions process. Through my experience in recruitment and teaching, I have learned how to tailor information to a wide range of backgrounds. I have gained proficiencies in differentiating communication flows, group and 1:1 presentations, social media management, and marketing campaign planning. My primary professional goal is to function in a higher education administration leadership role in which I can serve others through focused accomplishments.
