Co-Founder of the Painted Dog Protection Initiative a project that works to protect the endangered African painted dog (Lycaon pictus) in situ through the development and manufacture of specialized anti-snare tracking collars and the annual support of awareness events hosted at zoos across North America. While working full-time at SeaWorld, I attained my Master\'s degree by coordinating a collaborative effort between the University of Central Florida, SeaWorld Orlando, Smithsonian National Zoo, the International Marine Animal Trainers Association, and the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute to examine the physiological process of weaning in pinnipeds and improve the husbandry of rescued and zoological populations. Graduate Fellow of the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders professional development Traveled to Africa to help conservation efforts as both a SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund Ambassador and Disney Imperiled Species Program Representative.
