As the Business Relations Officer for the Town of Kingsville. My job is to help employers and developers choose Kingsville, and to do it thoughtfully. I know people see growth differently, especially in a small town. I listen first, explain the trade-offs, and focus on investment that fits our scale, strengthens local jobs and services, and protects the character residents value. I run our attraction and retention pipeline from first conversation to permits and ground-breaking. I align departments around clear timelines, remove friction, and keep communication simple. I build connected systems, CRM and practical dashboards, so we can see the pipeline and act on data. I also coordinate with provincial utility organizations and regional partners to unlock capacity (Funding & Grants), reduce risk, and support business continuity. I bring 30+ years in technology and operations, which means I apply product discipline to economic development: transparent procurement, measurable targets, and steady, accountable execution. Focus areas include business attraction and retention, developer relations, government and stakeholder relations, procurement (EOIs/RFPs), CRM/Dynamics 365, data and reporting, grants and funding, utility and infrastructure advocacy, and public communication.
