As the Government Relations Specialist at Westfield Insurance, I lead our government affairs work across a diverse and dynamic region, including Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. I also cover policy and advocacy efforts at NCOIL (National Council of Insurance Legislators), ensuring Westfield\'s voice is represented on critical industry issues.In this role, I collaborate closely with key industry partners and trade associations, including NAMIC, APCIA, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, state chambers, state insurance trades, and the Ohio Bankers League. This networked approach helps Westfield remain engaged on legislative and regulatory matters affecting insurance, banking, and our broader business interests.Beyond my insurance advocacy, I also lead all government relations efforts for Westfield Bank, advocating on policy issues that impact community banking and our financial services operations.In addition to external advocacy, I’m passionate about fostering internal engagement. I serve as Secretary of WEFEDPAC—Westfield’s federal political action committee—driving strategies to amplify our employees’ collective voice on in state capitols and on Capitol Hill. I’m also spearheading the rejuvenation of GRoW (Grassroots of Westfield), our grassroots advocacy program that connects and empowers our team to engage in civic and policy matters that shape our industry and communities.This role allows me to connect policy with purpose—ensuring Westfield\'s values, priorities, and interests are well-represented in the halls of government and within the communities we serve.Let’s connect if you’re passionate about public policy, industry advocacy, and collaboration across sectors!
