ABOUT BRANDON HENDRICKSON

I have functioned at a high level as a pharmacy manager, pharmacist in charge, supervising pharmacist, pharmacy General Manager, and Director of Pharmacy in both the retail and mail order settings with an emphasis on USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding. My real passion lies in public speaking and doctor education. My time as General Manager/Pharmcist in Charge at Roadrunner Pharmacy (a privately-owned veterinary compounding pharmacy) allowed me the opportunity to run all day to day operations for one of the largest compounding pharmacies in the country. I directly supervised over 100 on site associates (clerks, technicians, pharmacists) as well as 15 outside sales representatives. I managed the workflow, customer service, shipping, and sales/marketing aspects of the pharmacy on a daily basis to ensure that over prescriptions/day were filled accurately. I also traveled extensively to promote the business and educate practitioners through one on one clinic visits with sales reps, attending trade shows, and giving continuing education talks/seminars and dinner presentations to veterinarians across the country. My previous role with Humana RightSource Rx (the mail order division of Humana) had me managing 3 departments in the new Irving, TX facility. I had 21 pharmacists in the Screening/Verification department, 47 technicians in Item Entry and 23 technicians in Doctor Call. My daily tasks included coordination with peer Managers across multiple sites, coaching and mentoring Front Line Leaders in various departments, managing the daily workflow through the facility, and working with other departments to increase efficiencies. My roles with Safe Pharmacy and Richardson East Neighborhood Pharmacy had me coordinating day to day operations of two very successful compounding pharmacies while identifying areas of opportunity and future growth while stops at Medoc and InforMD had me consulting with independent pharmacies, marketing groups, drug wholesalers and drug manufacturers to enhance patient experience.
