I am a Tax Principal in BDO USA’s Private Client Services practice, and have over 25 years of knowledge and experience related to tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses, including federal and state tax and transaction planning, working extensively within the Real Estate industry. I am also the tax advisor to numerous high and ultra high net worth clients, including professional athletes and entertainers, where I assist with tax consulting and planning, including estate and gift tax planning. I serve as BDO’s Southwest Region and National Private Equity Industry Group Opportunity Zone Leads, as a co-leader of the Houston office Real Estate & Construction Industry Group, and on BDO\'s National Athlete and Entertainer Practice Steering Committee.
