ABOUT BRANDON MCREYNOLDS
With experience in public policy, advocacy, and research, Brandon is passionate about addressing systemic inequality and strengthening equitable access. As the Director of Public Policy at Metro United Way, he supports the organization\'s efforts to influence local, state, and federal policies that improve lives and communities. Brandon leverages his Ph.D. in Applied Sociology and his networking, fundraising, and strategic communications skills to conduct best practice research, launch external advocacy campaigns, and work across the organization to connect staff to MUW\'s advocacy efforts. He also draws on his previous experience as the Director of Workforce Development at the Colorado Department of Higher Education, where he oversaw statewide healthcare collegiate apprenticeship programs, advised on policy alignment, and directed the 2021 CDHE Policy Fellows Program. Brandon believes that by engaging people to give, advocate, and volunteer, he can help create transformative, systemic, and critical solutions for a better society.
