Create Now has reached over of the most vulnerable kids in Southern California by empowering young people from ages 3 to 24 (TAY) through arts education and mentoring. We target kids challenged by poverty, abuse, neglect, homelessness, incarceration, and similar issues. Our workshops in music, visual arts, writing, performance, digital media, fashion and culinary arts take place at emergency shelters, foster group homes, rehab centers, detention facilities, mental health agencies, and preschools, Title 1 & continuation schools throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Every year, Create Now brings thousands of kids to concerts, plays, museums and other events at premier venues.
