About Brandon Martínez Serrano
As a social and behavioral researcher, I explore how psychology and politics intersect in everyday life—and how that knowledge can be used to design more just, inclusive systems. I’ve worked across Latin America, North America, and Europe, collaborating on cross-cultural projects that center political identity, technology, authoritarianism, mental health, and community storytelling. From building trauma-informed recovery programs and coordinating institutional DEIA initiatives, to shaping student wellbeing policies and conducting research on violence, identity, and culture, I bring a people-centered, research-driven approach to every space I’m in. My experience spans higher education, nonprofit, and community-based work, and I thrive in environments that require collaboration, care, and adaptability. Trilingual in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, I’m passionate about bridging lived experience, data, and narrative. I do this by leading interviews, analyzing qualitative trends, or helping communities amplify their voices through accessible programming.
