About Brandon William Yang

I am a motivated and versatile person with a strong desire to develop both personally and professionally. Through my experiences in studies, activities, and work experiences, I have developed into a detail-oriented, tenacious learner who enjoys both independent work and collaborating with others in a team. I was part of the Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) program, which opened my eyes to global perspectives and developed my ability to think critically about complex global issues. As the creator and founder of GolfNoGolf, I learned about entrepreneurship, including brand management, community, and event engagement. Through Champion Minds, I have continued to develop leadership and teamwork skills while growing my persistence and mindset. I have obtained bookkeeping experience that relates practical financial knowledge and organizational skills to my academic interest of economics. I see an exciting future for me in economics because I want to improve the ways in which financial systems foster new innovation, equity, and growth sustainability. More than anything, I value relationships, learning, and putting creativity, discipline, and positivity into every opportunity.
