About Brandon Warner

I am passionate about equity-driven data science, sustainable AI, ecology, henology, Vipassana meditation, and post-Newtonian ways of understanding the world. While attending the College of Technology at the University of Houston, I developed a broad understanding of computational systems, hardware, networks, applications, security, information visualization and database management. I am currently working towards a Masters in Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth’s School of Biomedical Informatics whilst working as a Data Scientist at Verseon. My main area of technical focus is in data science (Python), query design (SQL - Oracle and MSSQL, noSQL, Neo4J), and machine learning engineering (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Vertex AI, SageMaker). I am also proficient in Bayesian inference, distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop), NLP engineering (BERT, GPT, text2vec), and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
