About Brandon Smith
My passions include, working in a team, implementing staff training\'s, and creating valuable connections with others. Flexibility, autonomy, diversity, and a love for others are all values that I hold high and serve as motivators in my life and drivers for my career. As a former graduate of NC State University and The Ohio State University, I have developed a wealth of experience throughout my time in school. Some of my accomplishments include developing students as a Graduate Assistant with Ohio State Athletics and Recreational Sports, helping to increase retention rates of officials in our Intramural Sports program, and coordinating high level tournaments for 16 of the best 10 and 11 year old baseball teams in the nation. I was privileged to be a member of the first street team for North Carolina Football Club (formerly Carolina Railhawks) and was instrumental in helping to set the tone and vision for the program moving forward. Through recognition such as the NIRSA Wasson Leadership Award, NC State Recreation John. F Miller Award, and multiple academic scholarships I have continued to develop a thirst for gaining more knowledge in order to make me that much stronger in my field. I am driven, motivated, and willing to do whatever to succeed.
