With over 16 years of ultrasound experience, Brandon Savoy has had the opportunity to serve in multiple capacities as a sonographer. Decorated former USAF reservist who carries over the tradition of military professionalism and bearing to the modern medical field- Winner of 2017 Lafayette General\'s \"MAKING A DIFFERENCE\" award for patient care and service- Facilitated and structured the LAUNCH of a Transcranial Doppler/ Neurosonography program for the largest Ophthalmology practice in the state-Currently Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound IMAGING services and procedures to patients such as Structural heart, congenital, myocardial mechanics, 3D imaging and stress testing, utilizing independent judgment-SPECIAL PROCEDURES Cardiac sonographer providing advanced level image guidance and assistance for cardiologist/anesthesiologist during structural heart interventions; TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, Amplatzer, Valve-in-valve and other STRUCTURAL HEART research procedures-Functions as a subject matter expert, to instruct other cardiac sonographers, assist surgeons with education regarding performance and preliminary interpretation of these procedures-Train and assist fellow ultrasound techs in intraprocedural TEE
