Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining profitable, efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant Agg/AC/RCY construction materials operations-Plan, direct and supervise plant workers associated with the mining, processing, stockpiling, loading and distribution of aggregates, or related construction materials, to ensure optimum long-term profitability- Estimate cost of materials including accurately reading plan specifications- Determine optimum manpower levels, inventory quantities, equipment, and work schedules- Develop and manage P&L budgets for material operations- Lead safety initiatives with all staff- Analyze material production and cost reports- Administer maintenance, repair, and management of all plant equipment- Compare costs and best value of plant equipment repairs- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, the local community, local unions and other representatives to promote Granite’s long-term interests- Coordinate work requirements with equipment and construction department- Manage, mentor and train staff to ensure development and retainment.
