About Brandon Robinson
I\'m a Chief Information Systems Technician in the United States Coast Guard. Currently, I manage a team of four IT\'s at a high optempo area of responsibility in South Texas. At my previous unit, I was Curriculum Chief for IT A-School and responsible for the curriculum that is utilized to instruct junior IT\'s. I have also fulfilled technical support roles for units with over 150 personnel. I most recently finished my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Sonoma State University, where I graduated Cum Laude and with Distinction. My current goals include finishing my MS in Computer Science while working towards being a senior enlisted leader in the IT field, and eventually breaking into the civilian sector as a software developer/engineer once my contract is up. Ultimately my goal is to pursue a PhD in Computer Science and return to Academia as a professor.
