As an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia passionate about social entrepreneurship, I\'m pursuing a B.S. in Commerce and minor in Chinese. Exploring this interest, I served as a Commercial Consulting Discovery Intern at Deloitte and a Future Leaders Global Scholar at 180 Degrees Consulting. At UVA, I am involved in several commerce-related organizations, such as Co-President and Senior Counsel of the Gayner Fund (GFSIF), Future Leaders Scholar alum at 180 Degrees Consulting, and former Senior Consultant at ENACTUS. From conducting market sizing for the Mid-Atlantic healthcare sector at 180 Degrees Consulting to expanding outreach at ENACTUS, these experiences have shaped my skills in client service, problem-solving, and peer collaboration.Beyond UVA, I serve as the Founder & CEO of IMENO, an award-winning financial literacy platform that empowers Gen-Z students through free, bilingual curriculums that combine education and gamification. Within 2 years, we have achieved 1.4 million views and 3,250+ followers across six social media platforms before being named a Top 3 National Finalist at BizWorld’s startup accelerator. As Founder, I developed skills in content creation, financial modeling, and digital marketing by addressing pain points within the youth education sector. After adopting a customer acquisition channel to synthesize content marketing and short-form videos, we have established an international audience through our free curriculums on personal finance.Furthermore, I served as the Virginia State Director of Fundraising for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate. I attained second place at the FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC) in the 2022 Securities & Investments event, and I am a 2x Virginia state gold medalist and 3x Northern Virginia regional gold medalist. Beyond FBLA, I led as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance of student-run companies at Junior Achievement (JA). Heading finance and accounting at our company—a former JA national finalist—we grossed over $5,500 in revenue in 2022 and donated over $2,170 to several charities. In 2023, we achieved nearly within 6 months. At UVA and beyond, I can’t wait to join a community of service-oriented learners, gaining exposure to finance, investing, and entrepreneurship!
