I\'m the head of the Apprenticeship Program for Georgia Power. I oversee the program and ensure that both Apprentice Electricians and Mechanics complete the two year program and become eligible to take the Journeyman Electrician and Mechanic test. I\'m the main point of contact between the two technical colleges that Southern Company is partnered with in Georgia, and the Plants that are involved in the program. I also send out the monthly training schedule to all of the Georgia Power Plants to ensure that everyone is informed of the upcoming technical training for Plant workers. Also responsible for updating Plant Assessments for all Georgia Power Plants. Responsible for other various projects within the Technical Training group.
