As a Manufacturing Process & Configuration Engineer, I manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to ensure timely and controlled implementation of design and process modifications within aerospace structures and systems integration. I coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain rigorous documentation to minimize production disruptions while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.• Initiate, review, and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product configurations.• Coordinate with design engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to evaluate impact and feasibility of requested changes.• Ensure all ECRs adhere to company policies, AS9100 standards, and industry regulatory requirements.• Manage documentation control for ECRs, maintaining traceability and clear communication throughout the change lifecycle.• Lead Engineering Change Board (ECB) meetings to review and approve changes, providing technical insight and risk assessments.• Monitor ECR implementation progress to ensure changes are executed accurately and on schedule.• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions when changes are driven by quality or production issues.• Provide training and support to manufacturing teams on updated processes and configurations resulting from approved ECRs.
