ABOUT BRANDON LITTLEJOHN

Brandon Littlejohn has over two decades of civil service subject matter expertise working on all elements of human resources and workforce development including, talent acquisition, selections, classifications, job analysis, Personnel Board Appeals, onboarding, training, employee engagement, upward mobility, career advancement, curriculum development, event planning, Unions, legislative bill analysis, and workshop facilitation. Brandon is currently the Chief of Talent Acquisition at CA State Parks, which oversees Recruitment, Exams, and Human Resources Program Management. Previously, Brandon proudly served as the Statewide Career Strategist for the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) and Chairperson for the State Recruiters’ Round Table Workshop, a bimonthly training attended by various practitioners and subject matter experts from the State of California’s 150 boards, agencies, departments, and commissions.Throughout his career serving California, Brandon has the privilege of collaborating with and providing civil service consultation to France, Office of Personnel Management, the State of New York, Senior Leadership of US Military, universities, colleges, currently incarcerated individuals (Prison to Employment Program), non-profits, advocacy groups, local governments and joint municipalities. Born and raised in Sacramento, Brandon attended and graduated from Sacramento City College with his associate degree and California State University Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications.
