About Brandon Hutton

Growing up an automotive enthusiast, I have based my entire experience and education surrounding automobiles. I have been working on cars since I was old enough to hold a wrench - with my dad I learned a great deal about how cars were built. At 16 I began working at a race shop in Moraine, OH. Beginning with painting bathrooms, I eventually earned the trust of the owner and was soon assisting track side and building race motors in the off season. After graduating high school with 48 AP credits and dozens of hours with both hand and computer aided drafting I continued my automotive passion at UC. Focusing my classwork on automotive related courses (Ansys Modeling and Internal Combustion Engines) I have learned a great deal about the theories behind modern cars. Applying that theory I have, and am currently heavily involved with UC\'s Formula SAE team. Contributing to a student designed, built, and tested race car I have seen the engineering process from beginning to end. Having successfully designed, tested and validated an original muffler setup I am confident in my abilities to contribute to the automotive community.
