Project Manager responsible for supporting multiple cross functional engineering teams on medium to large scale software library development efforts in support of Garmin\'s goals for existing products as well as new software & hardware development. Responsibilities include providing the \"What, When, Why\" of projects and change requests while working with engineering team leads on the \"Who and How\". Additionally, working side by side with a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and enhancing home grown and off the shelf tools (Change management, source code management, requirements management, reviews, build systems, testing frameworks etc.) in support of the entire aviation organization ensuring that all requests are being scoped, prioritized, and scheduled appropriately. Additional responsibilities include working with team leads and upper management to plan engineering budgets by forecasting upcoming projects, resource load, interns, new hires, etc.
