My urban planning career began at age five when I built cities in a large backyard sandbox. Today I’m privileged to continue this work in a slightly more life-sized fashion by working on active transportation solutions that intimately connect people to the communities where they live. My career path has provided a blend of experience that has resulted in one important differentiator – perspective. Designing plans and creating land use, place-making, and transportation solutions for for municipalities as a consultant, planning infrastructure in the public sector, and implementing development regulations through land development has opened my mind to innovative solutions rooted in real-world realities. Planning isn\'t just my occupation, it\'s my passion. I thrive helping communities plan, design, and implement safe, comfortable, and equitable transportation facilities.
