Hello! I’m CNBC’s Food & Wellness Reporter, covering the forces shaping how Americans eat, drink, and live. Based at CNBC’s global headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, I report on the business, policy, and competitive dynamics driving the food, grocery, and consumer health industries. My beat spans more than 85 companies across eight sectors—from Starbucks and McDonald’s to Walmart, Costco, and Peloton and Life Time Fitness and many more. I started my career digging into the alcohol, cannabis, and fitness industries, developing deep sourcing and a sharp lens on where consumer trends are headed next. Today, my reporting appears across CNBC’s TV, digital, streaming, and social platforms.I started at CNBC as an intern in 2017 and worked my way up to producer and reporter on “Squawk on the Street,” covering breaking news in real time and tracking shifts in consumer behavior. I’m a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists. I earned my master’s in journalism from New York University and my bachelor’s in English and Theatre from the College of the Holy Cross. I’m originally from East Haven, Connecticut. In 2022, I was named a Cynopsis Media Rising Star, and in 2020, I was recognized by Honor41 for leadership within the LGBTQ+ Latino community.
