Provide technical and analytical leadership to the Company’s Benefits team • Manage interactions with carriers to ensure needed and accurate data and reports are received on a timely basis for renewals, analysis, and issue resolution. • Develop custom financial modeling to respond to non-standard requests as needed using existing tools. • Project manage selection, development, and rollout of new benefits programs. • Participate in the development and execution of communication strategy, including establishing objectives, identifying audience and key messages, and choosing appropriate medium. • Participate in department short- and long-term objectives and strategies regarding health and welfare plans and programs. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit programs. • Assist employees with claims resolution by acting as a liaison between employees and benefit carriers. • Compile and create benchmark reports to compare benefit programs against industry and geographic cross sections. • Maintain and create plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) related to compliance with Federal regulations (ERISA, DOL, ACA, and IRS). • Maintain benefit information on intranet portal. • Support FMLA process. • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
