I\'ve worked in public accounting ever since I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2003. I specialize in taxation, however, I am also very literate in the world of financial statement presentation as well as overall accounting skills. Outside of general US tax compliance and overall tax planning, I spend the bulk of my time assisting clients with structuring Mergers and Acquisitions, consulting on shareholder/partner buyouts, analysis on real estate transactions, and general business planning/consulting with small-medium sized business owners. Specialties: Multi-state taxation, manufacturing taxation, real estate transactions/1031 tax-free exchanges, merger and acquisition strategies/taxation, flow-through entity taxation, international taxation/controlled foreign corporations, executive/individual taxation, start-up company taxation, stock option planning/strategies, construction taxation (large and small), financial statement analysis, general accounting/bookkeeping skills. The first 22 years of my career were spent with Greenwalt CPAs until we merged with Barnes Dennig in January 2025.
