ABOUT BRANDON CASHWELL
As a third-year pharmacy student at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC-Chapel Hill, I look to use my skills and knowledge to improve the well-being of my local communities. As said by Charles Dickens, “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” Keeping this in mind, I look to pursue a career in population health pharmacy in which I hope to advocate for value-based care and improving the quality of life of all patients. More specifically, I seek opportunities that support increased pharmacist intervention in our healthcare system and thus, career paths emphasizing the possibilities for pharmacists to tackle pressing challenges that our healthcare system and our providers are currently facing.
