ABOUT BRANDON BOHRN
I am a member of the Bertelsmann Stiftung\'s Europe Program, where I focus on U.S. foreign and security policy, U.S. domestic politics, and transatlantic relations. Before joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung, I worked as a member of the transatlantic team at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Washington, D.C, co-authoring Transatlantic Trends for three years. My work has been featured by several U.S. and European news organizations including The Washington Post, Politico, EURACTIV, Reuters, The Guardian, Tagesspiegel, die Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Deutsche Welle. As a Fulbright and DAAD scholar, I have worked and studied on both sides of the Atlantic. Previously, I served with the foreign policy team of a U.S. senator and in two U.S. diplomatic missions in Germany. I completed the TransAtlantic Masters Program (TAM) in political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. I am also a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. I speak German and have elementary knowledge of Spanish and Turkish.
